Question Posted Friday September 26 2008, 10:07 pm
Ok, so naturally I am a very skinny girl. So I have a flat stomach. But lately my stomach has been big and sometimes it is soft and other times it is hard. I know I am not pregnant, I think I might be bloated , but do you think I am bloated or I am gaining weight?
Also, I get bloated nearly EVERY TIME I eat and it is really annoying. I already have celiac disease, so I was wondering maybe there might be something else wrong with me.
So...
Question 1) Am I bloated or am I gaining weight?
Question 2) I get bloated after I eat, so is there something wrong with me?
Sorry it is so long, and thanks in advance.

there are so many reasons why this could be happening. I'm sure your celiac disease has something to do with it for the most part, but also, it coulde be related to your menstral cycle if it's located in your lower abdomen. Sometimes the uterus fluctuates between soft and hard depending on what time of month it is. The menstral cycle is also associated with bloating. It could be something associated with your bladder. It could also be irritable bowel syndrome. This condition could cause these symptoms too. As you can see, it could be a number of condidions. If it continues or causes you pain, please see your doctor and tell him/her about it. I hope I helped.
Good luck,
