I'm not sure about buying a remedy, but I know of a great at home mask! It's called an aspirin mask and it's pretty simple to do, and works great! I'm not sure exactly why it works but it does wonders to your face! To make you to take 5-7 UNCOATED aspirin, spirtz it w/ water, and leave it on for about 20 mins. If you want you can also add 1-2 drops of tea tree oil, honey, or aloe! It works great and is very inexpensive.

If you are planning on buying something I suggest either pro-activ (my friends say it wors wonders) or cydoxyl gel. My doctor prescribed the gelto me and after just a few days of overnight application my skin was visiby clearer, and that's a big deal for me because my skin was always grossed with different types of acne so some prodycts would help areas while making others worse but this is the first product that helps everywhere.

As for a home remedy, I suggest brown sugar, lemon juice and warm water. 'Wash' your face with it before you go to bead and wash it off the next morning with warm water. (make sure you cover your pillow with a towel, it tends to get sticky)

Hope this is what you were looking for =]

Here is a home remedy I found. It has a lot of steps, but I'm pretty sure it works.

Though I haven't tried it myself, some people say putting toothpaste on acne helps to reduce the swelling and make it go away faster.
