There are multiple things you need to do to get the music onto your phone from the program that comes with it. (ugh, i know).

1. Make sure you have a memory card for your phone. (without it your phone will not beable to store any music) I reccomend at least a 2GB, but i have a 4GB which is quivalent to one of the iPOD nanos.

2. Install the Sprint Music Manager, which comes on a disc that is in the Palm Centro box.

3.In Sprint Music manager, click Manage, and then at the bottom "add music" . Follow the instructions and add the music to your Sprint library from your computer. If you dont have any music on your computer, click Get, and you can buy music from the sprint store.

4. Turn on your phone, open Ptunes, and plug the phone into the computer using the given USB.

5. You will probably have to Hot Sync your phone, and if you do, a box will (most likely, as it did for me) appear on your computer. Follow those instructions in order to hot sync it. You will have to insert the disc again so it can install the program. (This step gave me a lot of problems, and i ended up ending the Hot Sync, but the music transfer worked anyway)

6. Click home on your phone and Ptunes again, and open up Sprint Music Manager. Your phone will say 'connecting to your PC' or something along those lines. DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR PHONE[:

7. In Sprint Music Manager, click Transfer, and if your phone is connected properly, it will say CONNECTED somewhere near the top. In the left-hand side box, it will say "Songs" along with a couple other things. Click SONGS and if you want to add all of those songs, but dont feel like dragging and dropping each and every one of them, hold shift down, click the first song, (KEEP HOLDING SHIFT) and click the last song. All songs should be selected and click on them and then drag and drop them into the bottom box.

8. Once you've put all of the songs you want in the bottom box hit transfer, and then DONT EXIT ANYTHING WITH YOUR PHONE OR THE SPRINT MUSIC MANAGER. It may take a while, depending on how many songs you have, and if you have enough room on your card, then all of your songs will be on your phone in Ptunes once the transfer is complete.

** NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU UNTIE YOUR USB CORD, BECAUSE IF YOU DONT THE CONNECTION WILL BE WEAK AND IT WILL KEEP ON UNCONNECTING AND THEN RECONNECTING.

( This answer is NOT mine, I searched Google, and found this.)
