I have a palm centro and it freezes a lot, mostly when I'm checking my email. I wait about thirty seconds to see if it will unfreeze and if it doesn't, then I take the back off and then the battery out and then put it back in. That's the only method that I've found to work. If you have any other questions about the centro, leave them for me in my inbox. I hope I helped =]

the "end" button is the power button on most phones.

but in the case that it is frozen, you need to remove the back and take the battery out.
