Psycotheis answered Wednesday September 10 2008, 12:41 pm: depends on how much is used. Too much of either will begin to damage your hair. although certain hair products like gels and creams won't damage your hair as fast as others. It all depends on the ingredients and if you follow the instructions, as well as washing your hair often enough that it can renew its own natural oils. There are hair products that will also help with straighteners. I can't exactly tell you which ones but I know they are out there somewhere, do some research if you can or take a look down the aisle and read the bottles. That and you can always ask your hair dresser what they recommend. [ Psycotheis's advice column | Ask Psycotheis A Question ]
