Hair products are slow-working when it comes to damaging your hair, also, many of them are actually good for your hair if they have the proper vitamins and nutrients. Hair straighteners definitely damage your hair noto nly more severely, but more quickly as well - mostly because of the heat.

depends on how much is used. Too much of either will begin to damage your hair. although certain hair products like gels and creams won't damage your hair as fast as others. It all depends on the ingredients and if you follow the instructions, as well as washing your hair often enough that it can renew its own natural oils. There are hair products that will also help with straighteners. I can't exactly tell you which ones but I know they are out there somewhere, do some research if you can or take a look down the aisle and read the bottles. That and you can always ask your hair dresser what they recommend.
