Okay, so this year just started 8th grade has been extremely diffrent and not in a good way. I've known Cole for about a year now, and last year he wasn't the nicest person to me but this year he's been ONE OF THE nicest and really cute. All my friends say he's flirting with me and Im A-OK with that.
and i got him whipped. frkn i called him from halfway across the room to pick my pencil up and he just kicked it to me, and i was like.. u didnt pick it up. so we started agruing about why i couldnt.. and Skye was like JESUS CRIST I WILL and she bent over, but before she even got it he like Jedi Mastered hahaha and gave it to me and he was like =D and it was so cute. and Skye was like.. Did you notice the look he just gave you, cuz we did look at eachother for a while haha.
and today he got in a fight and i was like =O because I sat next to him because he looks so sad, and I was worried. he told me Alex tried starting a fight and the whole story, and then like my friends Becky, Adam, Skye, Alannah come over and hes like Your Tag Alongs are here... so I dont think he likes me friends very much but hes just joking with them so its not that big of a deal.
A lot of people don't like Cole, which I dont care about.
Everyones says hes flirting with me.
But i have low self esteem and I dont think so.
What are some common things guys do when they flirt with someone.
-He sticks up with me when gay kids like matt flirt very icky with me like throwing cap erasers down my shirt.
-Picks my pencil up and smiles-- long and enough that people notice.
-Were always talking, and my Best friend Becky is like When Did You Guys Become Besties?
Just, some signs that he might like me because im completely clueless when it comes to this stuff.

Well, everyone's definition of flirting is different. Sadly, there is no fixed way to tell if a guy likes you or not, cause each one has a different way of showing it as well. From what it looks, he either does really like you or hes being a really nice guy, or at least trying to be. If he wasn't really that nice from the year back, he might have noticed this year and is trying to do a 180 with his life. And you either seem to be the one hes trying to impress or notices that hes different. I'm not really sure, but its likely. Because you say you don't care other dislike him, which he probably notices.
One things for sure, you shouldn't completely trust what other people say. Because most of the time, they have no clue. For example, if you starting dating a guy and everyone says your a really cute couple, they think it will last but they don't know that you two have already started to have problems and know it won't last. People are oblivious, so don't completely trust your friends when they say some guy is flirting with you...
If you really want to know if he likes you, ask him. His reaction should say everything if he tries to deny it. I don't suggest doing it, but its a quick and simple way to know. Either way, he seems like a good guy.
