How can I throw a fun birthday party? Sweet 16.
My best friend is having a birthday soon and I want to throw her a party. She really likes parties so I think it would be a neat idea. I've never thrown a party before so I need some suggestions and advice on how to go about throwing her one.
She'll be turning 16.
I'm inviting around 25 guests.
First off, I'm not sure where in the world to get party supplies at. Where do I purchase party supplies? Are there places to buy party supplies online at or specific party supply stores? I'm looking for fun party decorations / supplies.
Next, should we have some sort of party games? What party games would be appropriate? We're both virgins and are going to stay that way until we're married so I'm against all sex party games or adult themed party games. I'm strictly looking for a birthday party game for teenagers.
I'm going to buy her a birthday card, a cake, a small gift, and decorate the place we're going to have the party. Are there any specifics I should do when decorating to make it look fun? What sort of music would be appropriate to play at the party? Does anyone have suggestions for neat birthday party ideas?
I'm sorry for the extended birthday question but I've never thrown a birthday party before and I haven't had many thrown for me. Any birthday party idea is appreciated (including birthday party theme ideas)!

I just turned 16 friday! At my party i just put up a badminton and volleyball set and cornhole boards. And me and my brother in law and cousin and friends was batting around and having a lot of fun. And we just cooked out. And my cake was the number 16. And it was made out of cupcakes which made it easier to serve. haha. And i just decorated with my favorite colors and turned up the radio. I got all my supplies at walmart and the party place for my tiara. HAVE FUN
