I used to have the same problem except now I have a bracelet + festival wristband so I just kind of play with that.
If you don't have anything just put one of your hands in your pockets or hook your thumb in the belt loop.

:)

Oh wow, I'm kind of the same way!

I either am awkward with my hands and end up crossing them & looking unhappy like you, or I'll tend to talk with my hands (I'm northern, it's what we do!).

Occasionally I'll put one of my hands in my pocket, on my hip, holding on (gently) to my beltloop, etc.

I try to do anything but crossing them.
Anytime you have something "hiding" your body, you tend to look unapproachable.
Work on you body movements while talking to people, even if it means practicing in the mirror. It helps more than you would think. =)
Good luck.

Just have then at your sides, or if you're near a wall or fence or something, put your hand on it.

Really- that's it. Unless you wanted to be holding something all the time, and therefore you wouldn't have to really worry about where your hands were.

Maybe an alternative is having one arm down, but having your other arm across your body and have that hand holding onto your elbow area.
