smart waistcoat for casual look?

Question Posted Saturday August 30 2008, 4:29 pm

17/m. now i like the roll-up shirt with waistcoat look. or the waistcoat with t-shirt underneath. My question: can i wear a smart waistcoat (one made for a suit) with a pair of jeans and a casual shirt/t-shirt? or should i just go an invest in a different type of waistcoat?

by the way its a plain black waistcoat. The front is suit like material. the back is like silk, with a buckle at the back to tighten. incase this info helps at all?.

This question is rather hard, since I can't see the actual waistcoat itself, but yes, you sure can team a waistcoat up with those.
Infact, I rather like that look.
Why not invest in a different type of waistcoat as well (maybe pin stripes/different colours/different buttons), then you can change whenever you like.
Don't forget you can customize your current waistcoat to give it a different look and feel. :)
