Original 2GB iPod nano holding more than 500 songs? Is it possible?
Question Posted Wednesday June 17 2009, 10:35 pm
i have the original iPod nano with 2gb, and i thought that you could only have 500 songs on it, but i have 506 songs on it now, with album art, so i was wondering if you knew why.
orphans answered Sunday June 21 2009, 11:18 am: the 500 song max, is like an average. Your 506 songs with album art havnt exceeded the 2gb yet. When you open i-tunes, with your ipod plugged in, theres a bar at the bottom, telling you how much of the memory you have used, and how much you have left. Every song varies in size, so some may take up more space than others. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

Not sure how to work an iPod, but you go into your settings -> memory, and check how much space you have, and how much you have left. You can put in 800 songs, if they're short or zipped/compressed files. [ PunkieFreak4690's advice column | Ask PunkieFreak4690 A Question ]
