How can I stop liking him???
Ok,my problem here is that I've had this crush on this guy for about a year now.In my 8th grade year I told him how i felt about him((which i wish I should've never done))he told me that he did'nt feel about me in that sort of way((even though he would give me signs that he liked me))
All he wanted was to just be friends which was not true either because when I waited for him to add me on myspace((he dosn't have a computer so he has to go to like a friends house))he was on one afternoon I waited for him to add me but instead he did'nt add me.Which got me really depressed that day...
I'm in High school now and I have him in one class&i sometimes see him in the mornings when im on the bus or just walk around campus with a friend of mine.i thought I got over him in the summer but turns out that my feelings are still there ((sadly)).Now on the((I think im not sure..))2nd day of school one of my guy friends were with this really cute guy((lets call him Jack)).On our frist weekend my whole group of friends went to the mall to say good-bye to a guy((that I still dont know very well))who was leaving to Virgina.Well Jake suprised us((mostly me))with a little group of other friends with him((who were mostly girls))who also came to say good-bye.
The whole time at the mall all I wanted to do was to be together with Jake((which I was able to do a few times))What I noticed was that during the whole time when I wanted to get near Jake my crush never even entered my mind&I also felt more happy with him((I know chessy but what can I say?))Also he's the 2nd person to make me smile non-stop((Jake noticed that so I tried controlling myself))
Well a few days ago when me and a few good friends decided to go walking to Starbucks right after school I was talking to one of my great friends((you could say like a bf but i dont like using that term at all))both me and her were talking of some drama that was/is going on in our 'little' group.Well somehow me and ((lets call her Amy))Amy then just changed the topic to my crush then to Jake.
I told her that I thought Jake was cute and that maybe I liked him but I also said I was'nt sure.Amy then said that she too thought Jake was cute but she could'nt say that she liked him since she barely knew him.But this whole week at school during lunch I've noticed that they are usually together now and she does look happy when she is with him.As for me I try dealing to get over my crush which is soo hard.People say im in love or something but I know im not in love with him...i just..can't((love is too much of a strong word for me))...As for Jake I just came to a conlusion that if Amy really starts liking Jake then I better back off.Because if I too start having strong feelings((which I wish I had that option)) for Jake well,drama will unfold and thats the last thing I really want.
All im asking is how to get over my crush???&try being patient and wait for the right guy to come into my life???
i know this sounds like a silly question((& sorry for changing the topic a little or alot))
All i want is to get over my crush but I think my feelings for him get stronger every day...

So what I'm to understand is your confused about really liking " jake" well I recomend two funny songs that may cheer you up
These songs are both from the musical Avenue Q (not very known) but they should help a bit (they make me happy when I'm down and confused)

i know it sucks but if you really want to get over him your gonna have to find someone else to start liking.... or your other option is that you can start talking to (jake) and you two can become good friends and then you can see what happens from there

It's hard to stop liking someone and it takes a while, but you just need to think about something or someone else for a while and maybe this Jake guy isn't what you thought he was all cracked up to be and you could move on. Hope all goes well!
