Ignoring TXT messages

Question Posted Wednesday August 27 2008, 8:01 pm

Is there a way to ignore certain text messages (like spam) that you receive on your cell phone? I have a verizon Samsung Glyde if that helps. I like wanna stop this as soon as possible because my mom is getting pretty annoyed with the bill =/

Don't open them. If my understanding of cell phone charges is correct, you don't get billed for recieving a text message until you actually open it.

If it's the same number, and you know it's from a company or something, text "STOP" to that number. If it's one of your friends forwarding you idiotic chain-texts (Like mine like to), have a word with them about it.
