Question Posted Monday August 25 2008, 1:10 pm

So ive kinda been seeing my ex again, and well the other night i was supposed to see him because i havent seen him for over a week (my parents won't let me see him that's why we broke up).Anyway, the night he was supposed to see me he texted me.He could'nt see me because one of his good friends killed himself the night before, and he couldn't get a ride to my area,he said it was unexpected.I told him im sorry and how sad it was, that i can see him some other time.He texted me back and said i still want to see you can i see you tomorrow? i said ill try my best.Well he never texted me yesterday (the day i was supposed to see him,and he always texted me everyday) and i did'nt want to text him because i did'nt know if i shoudl have or not.I don't really know how to deal with death.I want to text him though and ask him how he's doing. But i don't know if i should because i don't know if he wants to talk about it,or if he wants to talk to me im confused.Should i ask him how he's doing?

thanks!

I definitely think you should text him asking him how he's holding up. Death is a real tricky thing to deal with. I know from experience. What's always helped though, is having someone there to help me deal. So, maybe he needs help dealing. Asking him might mean a lot to him.
