Hi, I am a singer and I would like to start putting my songs on myspace music..but I need some kind of program to record it. I have a microphone built into my computer, and I have the program sound recorder, but I get soo much backround noise. Is there a way to reduce the sound, and make it sound more professional?

To begin with I suggest you download Audacity, which is free software designed to edit and record music. It has a tool on it which will enable you to remove some background noise and get a better sound quality. The link to download it is below.
If you are serious about your music career, you might find it useful to do some research into recording studios. Studio time can be very expensive, so it might not be appropriate for you right now but getting your music professionally recorded will give a much better quality of sound.
