how do you download music, not music videos, from youtube.com legally to an mp3?
are you suppossed to download something first b4 you can download the music???

For step 1 put the youtube URL. For step 2 choose "mp3". For step 3 enter a valid email address. They'll send you the audio file in around 10 minutes.
It's not illegal to download music from Youtube in this way. It might be illegal for them to upload the music onto Youtube, but probably not (since music videos are promotional material).

How can you download it legally? You can't. Downloading videos/music/whatever from Youtube is not legal.
We're not supposed to tell you how to do illegal things, so even though I know that you can google how to download stuff from Youtube and find an answer, I can't tell you how.
Download iTunes. Support your favorite artists and actually buy the music they worked so hard on. The record industry will love you.

You can go to www.download.com and type in limewire in the searchbar, then download Limewire for free. and then you should be able to download any music you want to. I have limewire...it works great!
