Sound not working?

Question Posted Monday August 18 2008, 3:19 pm

Hey!

For some reason my computer sound hasn't worked in like a week now.. and my computer isn't on mute. I plugged my speakers in and out and it still doesn't work I even restarted my computer. I can't seem to find the volume control on the bottom right hand corner since I restarted my computer... and is it possible I may have blew the speakers? :/

Please Help!

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago! It was a pain in the butt. But I found that for some reason the balance wave volume would always go all the way down to low on it's own and would therefore turn the sound off completely.

(Assuming you have a PC) Go to the sound icon on your computer. When you open up volume control, make sure you can see the five different volumes. Make sure the bars are all at about the same level (the closer the the top the better) and pay special attention to the second one, the wave volume. Make sure it's not all the way at the bottom.

Granted this might not be the issue, that's what it was on my computer, and no one had really suggested that until I figured it out on my own. If not you might want to go to your computer's settings or press the help button and try out some step-by-step tutorials on volume control and troubleshooting.

I hope this helps =)
