Type 1 Diabetes

A really good friend of mine has type one diabetes.

I dont wanna feel rude and keep asking her stuff, can someone explain to me what exactly it is, why it happens, etc? i dont really understand it.

I don't think it's rude to ask her. If anything, it would show that you care about her. Just tell her your curious and have a few questions, and you were wondering if she'd answer them for you.

Diabetes is a sickness of having high or low blood sugar in the blood, it can be caused by several reasons forexample exaccesive candy's, sodas, sweet bread, and most any thing that contains refind sugar,you have to take a blood test to determind what stage of diabetes you have. it is recomended to stay away from sweet's as mush as possable.
