golf carts

Question Posted Wednesday August 13 2008, 8:02 pm

my friend has a golf cart and she gave me a ride in it and i thought it was really cool
she drove it on roads
i was wondering what the price range for a used electric golf cart with a backseat is?
also do you need a license to drive it on the roads?
thank you

oh and where are some websites you can buy them?

im almost positive its illegal to drive them on the street. but if its a private road it doesn't really matter. for example, where my beach house is, a lot of people have them and its acceptable. but i'd check.
im pretty sure you dont need a lisence, but if they see you're driving crazy or way too young, they'll stop you.

i'm pretty sure that in most states it's illegal to drive them on the road and i'm not possitive about needing a license but i think you need to be at least 16
