Go to sallys and get the color..Its professional color like they use in the salons. (And its actually way cheaper then boxed dyes) and you may also want to get a shampoo for color treated hair it makes the color last alot longer and not fade. You don't want to re-dye your whole head just touch up your roots every 1-2 monthes. ]
-It costs about $10-$15.
-The person under me is correct; you do have to wait about 3 months. But,to make the hair color last longer, rinse your hair with a lemon based solution right after you dye it. Doing this will make the hair color stronger.
-I'm sure it'll work!, especially because dying your hair darker is a lot easier than going lighter, so you should be fine :) ]
Self dye kits cost about $10.
You would have to re-dye it about once every three months. But really that is just the norm, if your hair grows fast you'll have to dye the roots before that, but if your hair grows slow and you don't wash it everyday you might be able to go longer than that.
And yes they do work, but it just depends on the color your hair is now with how light or dark it will come out. ]
