also, what is a perfect way to wash a makeup brush

They make makeup brush cleaner. They have the daily kind:

As long as the bristles are soft it should be good. Expensive brushes [or at least not the flimsy ones that drugstore blush comes with] are typically soft.


I always wash makeup brushes with warm water and a mild soap, then let them air dry. A non-grainy/exfoliating face wash does the trick. I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash and it does the job perfectly.
