You might also want to consider WHERE you're sleeping. Besides checking the age of your mattress as Jack suggested, make sure the temperature of your room is comfortable for you, and that you have the right amount of blankets and pillows. I personally crank up the AC and use a couple blankets because I like the bulk of them.
If outside noises distract you, consider investing in a sound machine or using an air conditioner/loudish fan.
Cux answered Sunday August 10 2008, 10:08 pm: Hmm, laying on my back with my head looking at the ceiling is VERY uncomfortable, so I don't do that.
Usually I lay on one side with the lower hand under my pillows and my other arm at my side. Sometimes I have both hands under my pillow, and sometimes I have my upper hand between my head and the pillow, and my other hand below the pillow.
Other than that, I have my back up to the ceiling, with my head to either side.
Maybe it's not your sleeping positions, it might be your mattress. See how old yours is and decide if you should get a new one or not ;]
