Alli answered Monday August 11 2008, 10:58 pm: Not really. My hair naturally grows fast. I dont think I do anything "special". I use blow dryers, curling irons, I eat fatty/sugary foods and my hair is really long and still growing. I dont want to tell you yes because I think there isnt. However, my aunt did take pills to make her hair grow. There is something in the pill, a cousin to benzoyle and it helps the folicls within the hair to widen causing more hair to come out at once. The pills are chewy tablets and no lie, they work! My aunt's hair grew 5 inches in two weeks! Hope I helped! <>< [ Alli's advice column | Ask Alli A Question ]

well i actually have a few things you can do.
someone once told me that crushing birth control pills and putting them in your shampoo can make your hair grow longer, the thing is some people say that its true & other says it false. My friend does it & she swears by it, but then again it may not work for everyone. & I'm not so sure that you can get birth control easily, but if anything you can go to a free
clinic & ask for some.
you could also try putting vinegar in your hair while taking a shower. its suppose to leave your hair with a smooth appearance & make your hair over all healthy, & once your hair is in better condition it will start to grow faster.
You can also go trim your hair a little bit because once you cut off your dead ends your hair will starts going faster.
Here are some other hair growing tips:
1. Eliminate or cut back on smoking, caffeine and carbonated sodas which weaken the body and block maximum hair growing potential.
2. Eat a healthy diet. Avoid foods that are high in sugar or fat.
3. Treat your hair like a piece of fine old lace. Treat it carefully avoiding any unnecessary brushing, combing or handling.
4. Avoid use of hot water, hot blow dryers or other hair care tools that may stress the hair.
5. Have a weekly scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles.
6. Do a series of ongoing hot oil treatments to protect the hair's shaft.
7. Have regular trims to eliminate split ends and allow the hair to look and feel healthier.
8. Get plenty of rest and sleep to allow your body to grow hair. [ DeeSireDiOr's advice column | Ask DeeSireDiOr A Question ]
