other than pidgin internet messenger
and amsn

The official Live Messenger will not run on Linux, even using wine, and there are no other programs that support all of its features. According to Wikipedia, these programs will run on Linux and support msn's network:

Qnext
Licq
Kopete
Instantbird
eBuddy
Centericq
BitlBee
Ayttm
