Ipod help!!

I just got the new ipod nano, but it wont let me transfer my song from my itunes onto my ipod. how do i make that work? on my old ipod nano (not video) a thing came up on itunes that said "my ipod" and if you click on it then it would let you sync your ipod. my new one wont show the my ipod button thing. Can anyone help me?

I had the same problem. What it was is that only the new version of Itunes recognizes the newer ipod. You can download the new version for free, here's how:

Open Itunes.
On the Menu bar (the thing that says File, etc), click on Help, the last better, then Check For Updates. It should do the rest by itself.

If you have multiple usb plugs, try a different one. Mine will only work in the back. Try that. If not, just plug in the new iPod and let it sit plugged in for a minute. I know when you have a new iPod there is software that needs to install before it works properly with iTunes.
