A standard mic for live sound (and recording studios, as well) is the Shure SM58. A lot of artists use them. They're great quality and reliable as well. I always keep one in my gig bag.

It's about 100 bucks, but I think it's worth it.
Although I would highly recommend the Shure, if you don't want to spend that much money, you could also get a Behringer.

I've read some really great reviews about the Behringer mic. People say that it's the less pricey version of the Shure mic. It is good quality, but not as great as the Shure. So it depends on your preference.

The new Roland DR-80C. But it's a professional type so I'm betting it's going to cost you at the ass.
There's also "Singing Machine" but there's good reviews, and bad, so it's up to you.
The microphone of DM-558B had some good reviews.

Otherwise just try a Musicians Friend store or a Guitar Center.
Hope I helped, let me know. ]
