getting a new phone...

Question Posted Sunday August 3 2008, 8:30 pm

Ok, so I've been looking into getting a new phone. I REALLY like this phone

Well, it SAYS it's free, but I know that hardly anything in life is really, truely "free". So, what's the catch? I want to keep my current plan and stuff. Also, any susggestions for cheap, good phones? Basically, I'm having to pay for all of this and I really don't want to spend to much money :) Thanks!!!

actually, free cell phones are pretty common. the catch is you are signing up for a 2 year contract. if you arent up for upgrade, that means you dont get the discount. also, its refurbished, aka, someone bought it, and returned it for some reason. you can get it for free new on amazon (still with need a contract).

You pay for the amount of the phone but the "rebate" that means that you get the money back, so basically it is free.
