mothballs + Kitty Cats =???

Hey DO moth balls hurt cats. My dad put them all around our yard/ house. Will it effect her?

They will repel against the smell, obviously, but just make sure they don't eat them.

They would probably play with them because they roll, but I would certainly keep moth balls out of a cat's reach because they're poisonous.
