Boyfriend moves fast!

Question Posted Friday August 1 2008, 1:16 am

My boyfriend and I haven't been together long... but when we are alone together he gets excited and a lot of times carried away, and he tries to get me to move too far with him. I told him I wanted a serious relationship with him because I really cared about him, not to just fool around. And he said he wanted a serious relationship too, but his actions don't match his words. What am I supposed to tell him?!? He's always telling me that I make him hard, and texts me dirty messages. It makes me feel uncomfortable a lot of times, that maybe he doesnt see the real me and all he sees is a girl with boobs and a butt. Can this be fixed or will it never work out for us?

subtle hints dont work, blunt hints dont work, totally obvious hints dont work. grab his face, look into his eyes, and say "cut it out"

and no, if hes just seeing boobs, a butt, and a certain other part, there is no way to fix it.

Tell him that the dirty texts and dirty talk makes you uncomfortable. Tell him you're just not ready. Don't dance around the issue. Guys...usually tend to not get the message when women are trying to tell them something. So be as blunt as possible. If he still doesn't get it, spell it out.

And if he continues to press on, you should drop him. Because after you would have told him (probably flat out) "no" and he continues, chances are he's only after you for...well you know.

cheers,
stargirl
