TieDye funn!

Question Posted Thursday July 31 2008, 6:17 pm

Okay, soo I just got a white 100% cotton tshirt with some black font on the front but it was inked on so Im assuming that the font shouldnt cause a problem. I wouldnt mind if it did, though.

I reallly want to do an "off axis concentric circle tiedye pattern" as Alvero Fernandez calls it in his online tutorials. I know how to do the basic circle, but it is possible to do..shapes? Like a heart? Because Ive seen pictures of that. Still in the concentric pattern though or whatever.

Also, how would I dye a shirt with two or three different colors? I like pastels.

Go to Wal-Mart, and go to the craft section.
Then, but one of the Tye Die kits they sell for like 10 bucks. It comes with 3 colors, instructions for making a variety of designs, and it's easy to use =]
