No, it's not embarrassing that he couldn't go all the way in. It's normal for a lot of girls during their first time. The only thing that can make you a little looser is getting "fingered" a few times before sex. There is not much you can do to make yourself looser. Just try to relax if you try having sex again and the only other thing u can do is have him use his hand before you have sex. Have him use more fingers than usual. That will stretch you out a little bit. But the main thing is to relax because if your tense that only makes it worse. As far as still being a virgin..
