another love sick homie...long story but i need answers
okay so i got this friend named erica and we just started bieng friends like 3 weeks ago but anyways me and her always talked but we didnt really hang out in school cuz her and her boyfriend were always together in love for a year. well now that its the summer her n her bf broke up and she had no one else to hang with except me so i let her chill with me and go to clubs and stuff but everyday she would talk about her ex and always cried over him and he dont even care about her anymore. he gets drunk everynight to forget her and his family and friends lie about erica and say she cheated on him just so he wouldnt get back with her. but ya ericas all in love still and hurt over him i tell her to just forget him but i know its hard for her. then the other day she told me she tool like 10 darvasets(pills/painkillers) and i got so scared cuz i didnt know what effect they would have on her shes so tiny and skinny. so i told her to come to my house and talk and she said she just felt like dying because she had nothing to live for she said her family ignores her and doesnt care and that she lost her love for good and all she had was me. then the pills got to her she was throwing up and falling everywhere she barely could breath. i was scared home alone with her with no clue what to do. i then let her fall asleep on my bed and i kept waking her up once in a while. i thought my own friend was gonna die right in front of me.
this is to much for me i dont know what to do when shit like this happends to my friends im not a counsler
what do i do to help erica get over her ex?

You are a true friend, but I'm sorry to say there is nothing you can do. Your friend sounds like she needs professional help. Talk to her about seeing a counselor...
As for your OD scare, next time call 911 immediately.
Help her see that she does need help and it's okay to get it.
