CLEAR SKIN NEEDED FOR ONCE! Okay I'm going crazy... I've tried Proactiv and Clearisil, Clean & definitely not clear. What can I do about getting rid of this acne? I always breakout for no reason. I wash my face day and night...I also moisturize. I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions?

And they gave my these two creams called duac and renta and my face broke out at frist but i kepet on using it every night before i went to bed and my face gets clearer and cleaer each night. hoped i could help you. ]
I couldn't find an over-the-counter acne treatment that worked for me either... And Pro-Active? Good lord... What a nightmare.
I agree with the last post. A dermatologist would be your best bet. If you have insurance, it won't cost you much... And if not, you might still be saving on all the OTC products you would normally buy. When you're at the dermatologist, ask for generic brands... They are the same as name brand prescriptions and cost a lot less. (And you're dermatologist will be happy to oblige you.) And every dermatologist that I have ever visited always recommended cleaners that could be purchased at the grocery store for cheap.
Oh... And if you wear make-up... Make sure that what you are wearing is non-comedogenic. (Means that it won't clog your pours.) I recommend Nuetrogena. (You can find it at Wal-Mart.) ]
Since you've tried so many OTC methods already, you might want to consider seeing a dermatologist. My younger brother used to have terrible acne and tried a bunch of different brands. Frustrated, he decided to see a dermatologist who put him on 2 spot-treatment creams and one lotion. Within just a couple of days his acne cleared up. His insurance covered the dermatologist, so you should check into clinics that accept your form of insurance.
If you decide not to go that route, perhaps find a cleaner such as neutrogena that has a morning and night cleanser.
I hope all goes well!!! ]
Maybe your allergic to some of the products you are trying,
Or maybe your changing face cleaning products to fast.
I use clean & clear everytime I get out of the shower, leave it on for five to ten minutes.
& wash it off with a hot wash cloth, Then apply some good lotion.
Hope I helped. ]
