I'm f/14.
I've had my boyfriend for 5 months, and I really don't like him as much as I did at first. He seems to be pretty in love with me, though. I feel bad because I don't return the feeling.
A few weeks ago I went to this camp and met a guy I really like. I think about him all the time. He lives in a completely different state, but I email him every day.
Now I'm seriously considering breaking up with my boyfriend, but I don't know how or what to say. (It will be my first time breaking up with someone.) I'm nervous to tell him about the guy from camp because he might get the impression that I was cheating.

Tell him that you know that he cares a lot about you, and you just don't feel the same about him.
Keep it short and sweet. If he asks you questions, which he might, don't get scared, or retract your break up statement. Be prepared to answer questions like why. He just had a major burn to his ego hun, so go easy on him. You can tell him that you really love his personality or something, but you really just wish you could be friends.

Just say something on the lines of, "Im sorry, but this isn't working out." "I dont feel the same way about you." "I like someone else." - or anything like that basically, because no matter what you say it will still hurt him. hope this helped some. [ casper101's advice column | Ask casper101 A Question ]

Hope this helps! [ ccupcake07's advice column | Ask ccupcake07 A Question ]
