what is the embeded thing for in youtube
does anybody know what the thing called embeded that is next to a youtube video is for ive been tryin to find out but i cant find anything

It's a code that you can copy and paste onto a website or myspace and have the video shown there.

actually im pretty sure that the embeded code works on myspace too. it does not work on every site. you would have to try to use it to be sure. but yeah the embeded code just lets you put that particular video on any page you create. also there is a way that youtubers can take off the embeded code so that people cannot take their videos and put them on their page but im not sure how to do it. but i think ive put a video from youtube on my myspace before.

To get the youtube video on their page, they copy/pasted the embed code into their HTML.
The embed code won't work on myspace etc. It only works on sites that allow pure HTML and embedded content.
