Is there any way to stop the kids or teens from going to school in Sims 2?

yeah when the school bus comes and it says they're going to get on the bus then you just cancel the action :)

well no,i mean you can but if they miss too much school the social service worker could come and take them away,but if they miss like one or two days they should be okay.When the school bus comes just click on the "go the school" icon on the upper left hand side and click it so the big red "X" is on the box so they won't have to go too school,i used to be OBSESSED with this game.I hated when the kids had to go off to college lol

Basically, when the schoolbus turns up, cancel the action to get on the school bus, or turn off free will.
