I'm sick of my hair, and I'm not trying to be a poser but I think "scene hair" is wicked cute. but, I have red hair and I dont ever see people with scene hair my color. I want to do something with it I just dont know what. I was thinking add a different color like blonde on the bottom so it's 2 toned. It looks like this: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
do you think blonde would look good? if not, what color?

It's ok, and most people like to be individuals anyway. I've seen all sorts of colors! I think any color would be fine, honestly. If you like it, go for it. Just make sure it's not a weird combination of purple and orange, red and brown, or red and aqua. In my opinion, those are weird lol. You can actually look up videos of people showing you how to style "scene hair" :] I've watched a few, and they're pretty helpful.
The vids with the yellow backgrounds, I think those are great. (the vids by alyssaxabscission) You have to have your hair cut right though. It can't just be long, plain, and straight. xD I hope this helps! :]]

I wanted something sorta scene, but I was worried about being too poseurish. It comes down to this: if you get too worked up over being a poseur, you probably couldnt make the hair work anyway! SO dont be boring. Dress cute wherever you go. Lifes too short to blend in, right? [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
IF you do get your hair cut, be SOOPER specific. Maker sure the stylist gets it right. If you dont like how it turned out dont be afraid to make her touch it up. Its your hair and her job to make sure clients leave happy and leave a good tip.
And I know a girl but shes gingerhaired and youre more burgundy.
Theres a myspace group "DIY & Hair Dye" with TONS of pictures. Click Albums, and on the lefthand column, scroll down to the Burgundy section. Might give ya some ideas. Thats the site that I got mine from :DD [ xxDearLee's advice column | Ask xxDearLee A Question ]
