bellybutton piercing
okay well its summer and i really want a bellybutton ring because i think it looks cute. i was just wondering does it hurt? what does it feel like? i have my ear cartiledge done and my earlobes done and i was wondering does it hurt more or less? thank you so much

I got my belly button pierced in 6th grade & I was so nervous. But it didn't hurt me AT ALL. They clamp your stomach and it's just cold but I didn't even know she was done haha. ♥

I have a lot of piercings. 18 of them. My ears 15, my tragus and my belly twice. Your belly, I think, feels like a bee sting. Maybe not even that bad. Its more of a stinging then a hurting. It stings when you bend and whatnot.
I know your not asking for this, but I tell everyone this.
If it gets infected.
DO NOT clean it with rubbing Alcohol. It will like eat the infected skin, and you won't have that skin there. Meaning the skin that is holding the ring in, will get smaller and likely to get riped out if small enough. Go to a drug store and ask someone there what to use.
Do not touch it more then needed. Try only touching it when you clean it. Touching it with dirty hands will help it get infected. Swimming in pool water is actually very good for it. As long as its clean, good pool water.
Swimming in lakes, or rivers are bad. that water is dirty. If you do swim in a lake or river. Be sure to clean it right after. Mine got infected from swimming in a lake.
Swimming in the ocean is good for it because of the salt. But be cause to clean it after. Showering should take care of that.

I've had my belly done twice because the first time i was made to take it and.
But both times it really didn't hurt.
I mean it isn't like the most comfortable feeling in the world but it won't make you cry.
I also have my ears done 6 times (3 on each side) and I had my cartiledge done so I know how they all feel, and the belly does get sore a little afterwards but as long as u take care of it and it doesnt get infected i think its totally fine and really not that painful at all.
Of course everyone is different. I may have a higher tolerance for pain than you, I may not.
If you really want it done I say go for it. I got it done because for some reason every since I was little like 6 and my cousin got hers done I wanted mine done too lol.
But they are cute and if you really want to, just do it. The pain isn't so bad to the point it would stop you from getting it done I don't think. Good luck, I hope you get it and I hope it doesn't hurt that bad for you either. =)

my friend and i both got them pierced last summer.
and as long as when you are getting it pierced, you keep your mind on something else, it will only hurt a little. it will hurt a tad bit more than getting your ears hurt, but basically it's the same thing.
