Well, i know this is kinda late to think about but i'm not sure if im too happy with the choice of high school. Last year i had two choices of where i want to go to high school (private schools, well call the one im at now M and the one i might want to switch to U) Even last year i had trouble deciding which school i wanted to choose. i finally had to make a decision and i picked M. mostly i did it because it had good academics and i thought that it would be good for college and that it would make my family proud. now i finished freshman year and i did have some awesome times and i like the school but i guess i didnt enjoy it as much as i thought i would. i mean i know school isn't supposed to be fun but i kinda hated going, all my friends at the other school LOVED going to school and i mean i should enjoy going to school. Im not sure whether i should switch or not, i feel like if i switched then i would kinda dissappoint my parents, like i dont want them to think i couldnt handle the other school but im just not sure. like what if i switch and im not happy with that school either. i dont know what to do, and i always second guess myself, and i dont want to make the wrong decision i just need a little guidance on what to do. thanks sooo much sorry its long!
Yes, you could have a lot of fun with your friends at the other school, but if you're worried about seeing them, make time to see them on weekends and during breaks.
Try to make the best of your school. I know my freshmen year I didn't like my school that much, but by sophomore year last year, I ended up really enjoying it. Your perspective can really change. Try joining a new club or sport to meet new people and maybe you can have some more fun ;].
From the educational standpoint, staying at your current school is your best option, and therefore, since I think education is really important [yes, friends are, too], you should stay at your school.
