These girls blew my mind, and I'm trying to figure why they did this

Hi, I'm a 15 yr old guy. I had something happen to me last night, and I would expect guys to do something like this, but these girls did something that blew my mind, and I'm trying to figure out why they would have done this. We just got back from church camp last night, and this really hot girl that I hung out with all week gave me her picture. I was walking from church to my house, and I stopped to use the bathroom at this gas station. My cell phone rang while I was in the bathroom, and when I reached in my pocket, I took her picture out and laid it on the toilet paper holder so I wouldn't wrinkle it when I got my phone out of my pocket. I forgot b/c I got mad at my mom for calling me wanting to know where I was and I accidentally left it there, and when I walked out, there was a line of like 4 college age girls waiting to use the bathroom next (There was only one bathroom for both guys and girls). I started walking for home again, and realized I left the picture in the bathroom. I went back, and the last of the 4 girls in line was just coming out of the bathroom. I go in there, and the picture of the girl from church camp was IN the toilet, and it looked like from how wrinkled and crumpled it was that it had gone through a few flushings. I asked the girls, and they were like "No, we didn't see a picture or anything". I know for certain that I left it on the toilet paper holder, so why would they have thrown it in the toilet? Guys would totally do something like that, but I thought girls were nicer than that!
