Actually, I have very smooth, clean & clear skin.
around my nose used to stay all dry & i never knew why.
I wash my face with clean & clear as soon as I get out of the shower & leave it on for about five to ten minutes, then wash it off with a really hot wash cloth & simply apply sweet pea lotion from avon onto my face.
That keeps is very smooth also, But if you make this a habit.
Make sure you do it daily, Or your face will react differently if you aren't using it as often as you once wore.
But for your question, I first apply revlon custom creations to my face, (the newer kind of make-up where you simply turn the knob thing to your skin color & press). Then I apply talc free mineral wear loose power to my face afterwards & add a little blush (& all my other face make-up such as chapt stick, lip gloss, mascara & eyeshadow) & It always has my face feeling really smooth..

The best would be no make up at all. Other than that, use a daily moisturizer.

hey

i highly recommend that you wash your face twice a day -- once in the morning to remove dead skin cells and once at night to remove make-up. it's very important to exfoliate as well to remove the dead skin cells. soap & water will not cut it for you. exfoliate!

after you wash your face in the morning, MOISTURIZE your face! your make-up may end up "caky" otherwise. i recommend the 24-hour moisturizer by johnson & johnson. i have t-zone pimples (the area between my eyebrows and my nose are oily, but the rest of my face is dry) so i only apply the moisturizer on my cheeks and around my eyes because i wear concealer.

and before you go to bed at night, moisturize your face! your skin and body repair themselves at night as you sleep, so if you go to bed with a good amount of moisturizer on your face, it won't be as dry in the morning.

if your skin peels often, go to do a dermatologist and they can help you find a cream that helps with the dryness.

avoid liquid foundations, they can make your skin look flakey and crumbly.
whenever i swim he chlorine dries my skin out so i use curel or pond' face moisturizer daily, and that really helps.
