how to have a light period.

okay, so i havent had my period since MARCH of this year.
and i ususally get them every other month for 10 days.
and its really heavy, then all of a sudden stops.
but i havent had it in so long, and every year i go on vacation and i get it there. wether i just had it or i havent had in a long time.
i dont know why.
but how can i have a light period.
or not have one at all for a week.
or shorten the cycle?
wihtout meds?

You can't make your period lighter.
You can't delay your period, either.


If your period is really bothering you, I suggest seeing a doctor. None of us here ARE doctors, so we can't give you any other solution.

I don't think there's any fast solution to this. The only way I could think of is going on the pill Seasonique. It gives you about 4 periods a year and they are lighter. I know you said without meds, but this would help you in the long run. Maybe you should look into it.

Uh... eat healthy? Maybe ask your doctor for what sort of diet you should go on?

Otherwise, irregular periods aren't going to just do what you will them to do. Even meds aren't positive, so what you're asking is pretty much shoot and miss. I finally got mine after waiting since November of LAST year.
