I'm personally a fan of Lily Allen. Besides the songs Laura suggested, try "Everythings Just Wonderful". She also does a fantastic and fairly upbeat cover of "Oh My God", orginally by the Kaiser Chiefs.
If you're willing to give on the upbeat requirement, "Shame For You", "Friday Night", and "Chyrl Tweedy" are also great songs, if a bit more serrious.
