It actually made me laugh out loud. Nostril piercings do not take 3-6 weeks to heal. They take months - maybe even as long as 12 or more depending on the person.
You also shouldn't use antiseptic ointments on piercings - it clogs them up. All you need to clean a piercing is sea salt soaks.
You need to pierce your nose with a hollow needle. This way you won't be messing around inserting needles, taking them out, then putting jewelry in. It's just totally unnecessary. If you use a hollow needle, it allows you to put the jewelry in at the same time, making it quicker and less likely to hurt.
The sterilizing is also way off. you need an autoclave to sterilize items. I highly doubt you have those. but professional piercing studios will. :) Don't be silly and just get it done properly. Then you can be sure you have the correct placement and jewelry etc.
