New Look

Question Posted Thursday July 3 2008, 10:13 pm

Male, 16 years old.

Sometimes I think I dress badly in school.
Could anyone give me tips on a new look that's nice looking but not considered prepish? Places to get clothes, anything basically. I don't know if it makes any difference but I'm white also. :)

Kittzen talking,
See here's a fun way to look the boom in the class room, do you want your own personal get up or to fit in?
if you want to fit in you just have to see what everone around you is wearing find out where they get there clothes and go shopping but be prepare to pay in your wallet and in you fit in staste. it no a bad idea to fit in but it awsome to stand out.
if you want to stand out what you got to do is keep in mind what your friends and peers wear and than go to the store. find the look you want in that store buy there clothes and be like a girl, be creative. see what looks good with what don't just match, stand out make a statement. when you find you look you be happy with yourself and you will also get notcied.

haha, i love fashion.
i'm not reli sure what your personal style is..
ideas: pimped out hat[ pacsun, hat shack, any hat store.], sunglassess, jeans [hollister, abercrombie, dillards, kohls, sears, etc], shirts [stores i listed for jeans, and white/black tanks are hot , plain black shirts/ colored ts, hot topic, no shirts with corney sayings.., chains, jewlry...

this is hard because i'm a girl and because i have a different personal style..

and it would help if you said if you were emo, prepish, skaterish, scene, etcc.

I don't think the first advicer realized your a male, and not wanting to dress prepish. People just make an ass out of themselves by assuming.
Old Navy, The Gap, JC Penney.
If you get new clothes you're gonna need a new pair of sneakers too.
Finish Line, Foot locker.

I used to have the same problem then I gave myself a full makeover with help from my b.f.f if you like 13 limit too is sort of in if your older it is hollister thats my favorite also aberocrombie and American eagle and aeropostle. Layering your clothes looks really cool.no matter if your white or tan. Make up is a tottal must just saying.be sure you never put to much on it doesn't make you look tanner it makes you look orange and sweaty.
