going away present

Question Posted Tuesday July 1 2008, 10:54 am

ive recently graduated and my boyfriend and i are going away to different colleges. I know i know, most people say that high school relationships usually dont last once people go the opposite ways after graduation but we are pretty faithful and sure that we will make it through this. So, i wanted to get him like a bag of things he can take with him to college so he will have stuff to remember me and feel less homesick because he is practically going across the country. If you are a guy what would you want from your girlfriend to think about her? and if your a girl what you want to give your boyfriend?

You can make a photo album of you to, or just throw in a couple pictures. A bottle of your perfume, a letter to him explaining how much you care about him. A mixed cd with meaningful songs.
From him I would want a shirt to sleep in at night, or sweater. Pictures that he has of you two. And basically everything else I said up there.

There are a lot of things you could put together for a going away gift, some that will remind him of you and some things he will just need. You could put a photo album together of pictures of the two of you. A mix cd is great if he likes music, you could put songs that have a meaning to both of you, or songs that make you think of him. You could put a goodie bag of his favorite cookies and baked goods for the first week he's gone. Lots of packaged foods that would last for awhile are good, like his favorite chips and cereal. It's hard to give a lot of suggestions without knowing you and him and what is significant to you both, but just try to come up with things that you know he will like and appreciate, and things that you know will remind him of you. He will appreciate the thought no matter what. Good luck.
