Hi.
I am 15/f.
I have been having these "attacks" recently. I do not have any illnesses that I am aware of other than an unknown tremor disorder and I am also lactose intolerant. Other than that, I am pretty healthy. I work out regularly and I eat healthier than an average teenager.
Description of the attacks:
- Extreme and sharp stomach pain that just comes randomly and unexpectedly.
- Next, I start getting really dizzy
- Then, I start shaking beyond uncontrollably.
I don't really know whether its because of anxiety (I am not a nervous or shy girl but I do hold a lot of stress) or because of eating too much sugar.
I was just seeing if anyone has had this problem before. I am going to the doctor but I just want your opinion first!

Lovetornado answered Sunday June 29 2008, 8:48 pm: i have the same problem, and im only 2 years younger. its a "panic attack" and it can happen because you have alot of stress. when i went to the doctor he said just try and take it easy. so if you start to feel dizzy. take slow, deep breaths. close your eyes and try to think of a "happy place" and to help get your stress out, you could write, read, or do something alot those lines. alot, do you start breathing really fast. and it feels like you cant breath? if so, then you should do what it says above. and when that happens it just means that you have too much air in your body.
hope i help =) [ Lovetornado's advice column | Ask Lovetornado A Question ]
jessica94248 answered Sunday June 29 2008, 2:55 pm: it's an anxiety attack from stress. i actually read a book that was fiction about it. like "the boyfriend list" or something..
in the book she saw a therapist. (mainly because her parents thought she as lesbian) and after the finished seeing her, the attacks stopped.
:)
hope i helped! [ jessica94248's advice column | Ask jessica94248 A Question ]
