Spray Tan

Question Posted Monday June 23 2008, 5:06 pm

I am going for a spray tan on Thursday and the salon have advised me to wear dark, loose fitting clothes and flip flops between tanning and showering, which is not advised for at least eight hours. The trouble is that I am due to go out a couple of hours after the tan and don't really have any dark, loose fitting clothes I could wear. It also isn't really warm enough in the UK to wear flip flops.

Has anyone had a spray tan before? Would it be okay to just wear normal clothes when I go out as long as they are dark?

Eh, I've went spray tanning a couple times and everytime I've gotten one It's always left me orange and streaky. But It is best to wear loose fitting clothes because it lessens the chance of you being streaky. ♥

I've gotten one before, and I also recommend wearing dark loose fitting clothing because the spray on may go onto your clothes, which is why they say dark, and loose fitting is also so that it rubs off less (because it'll do that before you're completely dry) and so that your skin can breathe easier.
