What's the name of this book?

I really forget.. we read it last year in my class... its like these kids who have to go to this like swampy place.. and they cant leave it.. there is some kid named Emmet in it.. I forget the main charater but there were like boys.. and then the main character had to go in this chair sometimes and it like drove him crazy cause he had to be like silent or something. and they wanted to leave but couldnt.. i think the cover is orange, too? and like he had to be sent there for some reason.. and the people who made the place like something was wrong with them.. they wanted to earn money or something like that and were criminals but changed their names? please help i really dont remember more things but its such a good book
