important question! :when do girls get pregnant? Hi i'm a guy and me and my gf have decided that we are comfortable and ready for sex.
however I have been hearing a lot of theories of when a women can get pregnant.
1)I know that condoms are good,I am planning to use them, but just for extra precaution...
2)some ppl told me that the girl can least likely get pregnant during her period,,cause the blood comes out and stops the sperm from getting in.
3)other say it's 2 or 3 days before her period
4)another lot said,it's 2 or 3 days after her period
5)another said it's two weeks after her period
6)another said 20 days after her period
I'm really pissed to be honest, all my friends are giving me different opinions.I know that a girl can get pregnant any time of the month, there is no 100 percent CORRECT time where a girl can never get pregnant.I just want a clear answer to as when a girl can LEAST likely get pregnant,LEAST likely. and yeah i will still use a condom, but i just wanna know this for extra precaution.

The most important thing you need to know is that your girlfriend can get pregnant at any time of the month. Period or no period.
However, it is true she is least fertile while she is on her period.

"If a woman wants to conceive, the most fertile time occurs between 19 and 10 days prior to the expected menses."
-Wikipedia ]
A girl is least likely to get pregnant during or directly following her period, because she is not ovulating at the time. She is most likely to get pregnant 2 weeks after her period. ]
The reason there is so much conflicting
information is because the only really
"safe" time for women is abstinence.
According to medical sites...Females
are least likely to become pregnant
two days before their period starts
and the first two days of their period.
If a girl has sex on day 5 of her period
and then ovulates early, say on day 10,
there's a chance some sperm could still
be alive and able to fertilize that egg.
So, no, there is no 100% "safe time" of
the month. It is much safer to use both
condoms and contraceptives like the Pill.
The problem is most girls do not have
their periods right on time every time.
Even if they keep a calender perfectly
for months trying to track it.
Keep in mind too that sperm can live for
3 to 5 days swimming around in there. So
even if you had sex on a "safe" day she
could still get pregnant.
Using a condom is good. Condom and
birth control for her is even better.
Do those things and don't worry about
trying to find "safe days". There really
and truly are none. :) ]
