Volunteering Interview

Question Posted Thursday June 19 2008, 1:32 pm

17/f

Today I have an interview, as I have applied to volunteer for the local Parks & Rec. Initially I didn`t think I needed to bring anything other than ID, but will I need to bring a resume? That would involve completely redoing mine today, but I`m not sure if it`s entirely necessary. I have never had a job, so my resume is rather bare.

Thanks!

I'd bring your resume with, just in case. This way, if the person interviewing you does ask for it, you'll look organized and responsible and in the end, end up making a better impression.

You should probably also bring something, like said below, to prove that you are certified to work in the US, like a birth certificate, social security card, etc, just in case.

It's better to be prepared =]

ALSO bring your social security card to prove right to work in the US as a citizen and a resume in case asked for it. It is always best to have too much information than not enough information. & GOOD LUCK and volunteer work is awesome! GREAT JOB.
